Atatürk Orman Çifliği (Atatürk Tree Farm) was donated by Atatürk to treasury in 1937. Today, it continues its operations as a legal entity and subsidiary of Ministery of Food, Agriculture, and Livestock. In 1992, farm was recorded as first degree historical and natural protected area.
